ROOT CANAL IRRIGATION SOLUTION

• Sodium hypochlorite is a 5.25% aqueous solution containing active chlorine.
• It dissolves both living and necrotic tissues in the root canal system.
• It is effective against flora and endotoxins that contaminate the root canal system.
• It efficiently removes debris generated during the chemomechanical instrumentation phase of root canal preparation.
• It eliminates the organic content of the smear layer during the final washing stage of treatment.
• Sodium hypochlorite can be used with EDTA liquid and, after thorough intermediate washes, it can also be used with chlorhexidine.
