CHLOROXIDINE DI GLUCONATE IRRIGATION SOLUTION

• ProChex is an aqueous 2% chlorhexidine digluconate solution, effective against the flora and endotoxins that contaminate the root canal system. It provides sustainable, long-term disinfection of the root canal system with a broad-spectrum bactericidal effect against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as an antifungal effect in root canal infections.
• It inhibits MMP activity in the hybrid layer with its chlorhexidine content, protecting the collagen network. This helps increase the adhesion of root canal sealers to the root canal walls.
• ProChex does not contain any surfactant agents, so it does not adversely affect the bond strength of restorations. Additionally, it has low toxicity due to the absence of additives.
• It eliminates microorganisms on the dentine surface in vital teeth.
